Sonific LLC announced today that it has introduced a new public beta launch of its service, SongSpots(TM). SongSpots(TM) offers a user-friendly and fully LEGAL way to add music to blogs, social networks (that allow you to embed them), and other personal websites for FREE.

Sonific has a massive music library that features thousands of songs created by independent artists and provided by many record labels. This music streams through embedded Adobe Flash players (aka widgets) which can be customized. When one of your website readers discovers your embedded SongSpots(TM) music player, they can click on the link to learn more about the featured artist and purchase songs from their affiliates such as Apple’s iTunes.

This model has worked well for Sonific since during a private trial, over 10% of the active embedded SongSpots(TM) were clicked-on and many of these clicks led to follow-up purchases. Many SongSpot(TM) users raved about the simplicity of SongSpots(TM) setup and unique user interface.

Sonific was created in July 2005 for the purpose of providing a large catalog of music for private and promotional purposes. Leonhard co-founded Sonific with Gunnar Östergrena, a former IT architect and technology executive at Cap Gemini.
