I’m sure many of us have taken digital photos and videos during the Christmas and New Years’ celebrations. Badongo sent out a press release that stated “what is the easiest way to give those moments back to the people who were there? The answer is Badongo.com.” Bandongo allows users to easily upload single or multiple files and manage photo albums.

Badongo allows users to add photos of any size and there is an unlimited amount of space available for uploads. Bandongo Photo Albums also have stylish presentation options as well.

Bandongo makes money by charging for Turbo Accounts. The difference between Turbo and Free accounts is that free accounts:

  • can download 150MB / hour
  • there isn’t any download software available
  • there is a 30 second waiting period
  • download speeds are limited to 240 kbps, files are deleted after 30 days of inactivity
  • free accounts are only available for a limited amount of time
  • files cannot be password protected
  • extra download slots are not available
  • and free accounts do not have Usenet Access to 100 Terrabytes worth of content. Turbo Accounts cost $5.99 per month for 12 months, $6.95 per month for 6 months, or $9.99 per month for 1 month.

Badongo also has a Flash slideshow widget that allows users to embed photos within MySpace pages. Adding transitions for the photo slideshows are also simple. Users can add film roll, fade/zoom, spinner, and fish tank transitions.

Sizes are limited to 1GB for each file (photos, video, music, etc) to send to family and friends. Registration is simple. Only a few forms are required to be filled out.

Badongo was created in 2005 by Patrick Boden. Bondango receives over 1 million unique hits per day. Boden is also the CEO of ICL, Ltd. which is based in Santa Monica, CA and has developers in over four continents to maintain site efficiency.
