Facebook Cleans up App Invites

I have somewhere in the range of 30-40 application invites. Every time I logged into facebook I would see the huge list to the right. I’d have to scroll past the Vampire bites, Top Friends, and Aquarium invites to get to my notification count.

Today I log into facebook and all I see is:

Seems they’ve cleaned the front page and removed the hoard of useless applications invites which I’ve ignored for so long.

Update:

As of 12/12/07 the horrid invites seem to be back. And they’re seem to be even more of them since their initial disappearance.
