   The digg.com from 1998 is a different digg than the social media giant of today.
   Today’s digg wasn’t started until the end of ’04
   The site from 1998 appears to be the website of a record company, however I can’t verify this, because it appears that the site was down every time the wayback machine archived it…

   Because archive.org's Wayback machine doesn't go back that far.
