I think that they would just make a few management changes, collect the revenue that Yahoo! is making, and use that to pay Yahoo! their salaries. They would probably stick a few key Microsoft people in Yahoo! management positions. That's my theory. I don't think a merger between Microsoft and Yahoo! would really help either service. Microsoft with it's bottomless pockets couldn't make MSN search a strong contender for google and buying Yahoo!
