“Social networks, personalized homepages and search engines are becoming platforms for external content. Essentially they [are] becoming the way that consumers organize their Internet experience. All sites are making their content available for publishing elsewhere and widgets are a great way to package and keep control of the content published elsewhere.”
-Universal McCann February 2008 Trend Market report

Gigya is a widget tracking service company. Gigya also makes it easy to increase widget distribution and provides monetization solutions to their clients. As of March 2008, the company reached 120 million unique widget users worldwide and 44 million unique U.S.-based users according to a comScore report.

“We are delighted with the findings in the most recent comScore report because they highlight the scale Gigya has so quickly achieved,” stated Rooly Eliezerov, Co-founder/President of Gigya Inc. “We made our widget distribution technology available just one year ago, and we are now the technology of choice for more than a thousand publishers and advertisers. The comScore numbers provide further confirmation that we are a major force in the widget space.”
