Google Search On iPhone/iPod Touch Is Now Faster

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has made their first downloadable iPhone/iPod Touch application. Typing on an iPhone isn’t easy so Google Mobile starts providing suggestions as the user is typing. For example, if you are looking for “lost in,” then Google will automatically suggest “lost in translation.” Google’s My Location feature suggests restaurants and coffee shops too. When typing in “pizza,” Google will locate pizza places on My Location.
When typing in certain keywords, Google will automatically suggest URLs too. For example, when typing in NFL, NFL.com will be shown as a search result and NFL on ESPN.com will show up.
Google Mobile App also tracks how often you text or call certain contacts on your iPhone. The more often you call or text a specific individual, the higher the contact will be in your address book. The Google Mobile App is available in the App Store within Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iTunes.
