Sprint Plans to Significantly Lower Phone as Modem Pricing

Sprint is desperately trying to hold on to its customers. The company recently announced that it plans to significantly lower its phone as a modem rate. The current rate of $49.95 a month will be lowered to $15.00 a month.

This is extremely good news for customers with compatible phones. Basically a phone as modem plan lets your phone function as a broadband modem through USB or bluetooth.

The price decrease obviously comes with a catch. You must have a Power Vision compatible phone with laptop connection capabilities. You also need to sign up for the Sprint PRO Pack to get the $15.00/month rate.
