FunnyOrDie.com Team Launches EatDrinkOrDie.com, A Chef-Focused Video Site

FunnyOrDie.com has launched a video site that has a focus on food.  The new site is called EatDrinkOrDie.com.  The site officially launched yesterday.  The site will feature cooking videos from chefs and user-generated content.  The site also has food-related articles and receipe-sharing features. 

Several blogs are connected to EatDrinkOrDie.com such as Barstool Gourmet, Boy Meets Kale, Chef’s Day Off, Eat This Before You Die (NYC), Mom Blog, Men Who Like To Cook, Corkage, Gotta Eat This, Roman Holiday, Live Free, and Twenty and Hungry.  The site is managed by Tom Colicchio, Britt Lovett, Jon Shook, Talia Lesak, and Vinny Dotolo.  Featured celebrities include Pete and Brian, Paula Deen, Rocco DiSpirito, Jamie Oliver, Jonny Bowden, Gary Vaynerchuk, Owen McKibben, Art Smith, Michael Chiarello, and Sophie Uliano.

FunnyOrDie has about $15 million in funding from Sequoia Capital and HBO.  FunnyOrDie’s Board of Directors include Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Randy Adams, Mark Kvamme, Mitch Galbraith, Dick Glover, and Mark Smallcombe.  Other sites in the FunnyOrDie network include ShredOrDie.com (Action Sports), PwnOrDie (Video games), and MorraDeRir.br (Brazilian version of Funny or Die).
