When the team behind Chrome at Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) was making an official announcement in Mountain View, Calif., Kara Swisher of AllThingsD was able to corner Sergey Brin and get a quick interview. One of the funniest parts of the interview was Brin admitting that not having a Mac version of Google’s new web browser compatible with Macs was “embarrasing.”

Rest assure, Google is working on a Mac version of Chrome. Google is also working on a Linux version of the browser. Google Chrome has quite a few limitations compared to Firefox. The biggest problem with Chrome right now is that developers cannot build anything around the browser. Firefox’s biggest advantage right now is speed and plugins.
