Gawker Gets A Hold of Sarah Palin’s Yahoo! E-Mail & Takes Screenshots

Gawker writers Nick Denton and Pareene have obtained Sarah Palin’s personal e-mail address and password.  Sarah Palin conducted state business under the e-mail address, gov.sarah@yahoo.com.  Users on a message board called 4chan got a hold of the password and published it.  It turns out that it was legit.  Gawker placed screen shots and pictures of attachments all over this blog post.  The account password was changed and then republished on 4chan.  Now the account has been deleted.

There was e-mail correspondence between Sarah Palin and Ivy Frye along with her husband, Todd Palin.  There was also communication between her and Amy McCorkell, an associated from Wasilla.  Lt. Governor Sean Parnell was also included in the e-mail chains.  There was a phone number for Bristol Palin in the e-mail which Gawker verified in another blog post.  Gov.sarah@yahoo.com and Gov.Palin@yahoo.com were deleted around the same time.

Maybe Palin should have used The Google like current Republican President George Bush.
