Apple Launches New Design For MacBook Pro

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has announced today that they are launching a new design for the MacBook Pro. 

The new design features:
1. Large new multitouch trackpad
      -39% larger than usual
      -Multi-touch
      -Made of glass
      -Entire trackpad is the button
      -Four-finger gestures
2. All connectors are on one side.
3. LED-backlit display
4. Mini-display port connector
5. Built in iSight and mic
6. Stereo speakers
7. Magnetic latch
8. Sudden motion sensor
9. New NVIDIA chip — 9600M GT, 32 graphics cores, 9400 as integrated graphics or 9600M for bigger graphic performance
10. 802.11n, Bluetooth
11. Thinnest MacBook Pro ever.
12. These laptops are shipping today and will be in stores tomorrow

Price/Specs:
1. $1,999 for 15.4″ (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 3MB L2, 2GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, Nvidia GeForce 9400M GT/ 256MB, 250GB hard drive, w/ SuperDrive slot)
2. $2,499 for 15.4″ (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 6MB L2, 4GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT/ 256MB, 320GB hard drive, w/ SuperDrive slot)
3. $1,299 for 13.3″ (2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 3MB L2, 2GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, Nvidia GeForce 9400M, 160GB hard drive, w/ SuperDrive slot)
4. $1,599 for 13.3″ (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 3MB L2, 2GB 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, Nvidia GeForce 9400M, 250GB hard drive, w/ SuperDrive slot, backlit keyboard)

Apple also announced a cheaper MacBook.  They are currently retailing for $1,099, but Apple announced that they have reduced the starting price to $999.
