Blurb is a service that allows multiple publishers to come together and create a book.  Once the book is slapped together, Blurb publishes it into an authentic printed book available for distribution.  To date, Blurb has raised $21.5 million.  The most recent funding was their $5 million Series C.  Investors in the Series C round included Canaan Partners and Anthem Venture Partners.

Last month, Gordon Crovitz joined the Board of Directors for Blurb.  Last year, Blurb made $10 million in revenue by publishing over 90,000 unique titles.  Blurb has Photobucket and MySpace applications powering the site as well.

Blurb started in 2004 and is based in San Francisco, Calif.  The company also has offices around Europe.
