Naver is Korea’s most popular search portal. It’s kind of like the Google of Korea. The company recently acquired Me2day, a Korean microblogging website for around $2 million.

Me2day is not venture backed.

$2 million may not sound like a lot.  But for a company that is not ventiure backed, it’s a good amount of cash.
