We’ve all seen the infomercial about the Snuggie by now.  Yes, the big blanket keeps your body warm and has sleeves for you to stick your arms through, but what about your hands? This is where the Etre Touchy comes in.  The Etre Touchy is a glove to keep your hands warm around the house, but still allows you to use any devices that require the touch of a finger.  This is especially useful for those who have media players, PDAs, PSPs, remote controls, the iPhone, an iPod, BlackBerries, gaming systems, etc.

I think that Etre Touchy gloves are the perfect gift during the holidays when it gets cold outside.  For example, when I walk around large cities, I like to be able to keep my hands warm, but still be able to control the music on my iPod.  Taking off regular gloves to change the song and putting the gloves back on is just too tedious.  This would save people that kind of hassle.  The gloves come at a pretty good price too.  They cost about the same as regular gloves.

The Etre Touchy is 100% acrylic and comes in a charcoal color with a turquoise trim around the fingers.  They currently come in medium and large sizes and can be washed in 30 degree cold.  The gloves are manufactured in China and was designed by Etre.  The glove costs roughly £14.99 GBP (or USD21.72 or EUR16.88).  Etre is a digital communications agency that specializes in user experience design.  Some of Etre’s clients include the British Council, Eurostar, Mars, Mencap, Ogilvy, and Deloitte.
