LG is considering withdrawing from manufacturing plasma TVs.  Costs from manufacturing the TVs are offsetting profits.  Lee Gyu-hong, LG’s Justice, VP, and President made this announcement in an interview earlier this week.  This move would be similar to Pioneer, who announced that they intend to cease plasma TV production immediately.  Pioneer’s plasma TV plants are all shutting down by the end of April.
