Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Launches In The U.S.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile devices have officially been released in the U.S., available immediately.  The phone features a graphic equalizer, 8GB memory, support for all main digital music formats, and 3.5 mm jack.  The phone has buit-in surround sound.

“When it comes to music phones, people all over the world want a device that is a great music experience and still works really well as a mobile phone, without sacrificing features,” stated Ian Laing, VP of North America Sales, Nokia.  “The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers on this and has clearly proven to be a device that consumers are clamoring for – selling more than one million worldwide since its introduction a few months ago.”

The display is 3.2″ widescreen and 16:9 aspect ratio with 30fps.  The built-in camera is 3.2 megapixels with Carl Zeiss lens.  Images and videos can be uploaded to Ovi, Flickr, and Facebook using one touch.  The device retails for $399 at Nokia’s retail stores and nokiausa.com.
