Samsung Utilizes VIA Nano Platform With NC20 Netbook

Samsung is the first major netbook company to utilize the VIA Nano platorm according to an announcement made today.  The first netbook using Nano is the 12″ NC20.  The processor is a 1.3 GHz VIA NAno ULV U2250.  It comes with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD (with option to make it SSD), 1280×800 LCD, 6-cell battery, and about 6.5 hours of operation time.  No word ofn prices or release date yet.

The NC20 is about 2″ bigger than the Atom-powered NC10.
