Amit Kapur oversees global ops for MySpace.com, MySpace Music, and MySpace Mobile.  He is also responsible for MySpace’s business development, partnerships, and support operations.  Kapur helped MySpace lock in deals with Google and Sony BMG.  It is uncertain whether Kapur will remain with News Corp or not.  It sounds like Kapur will be pursuing other entrepreneurial activities according to AllThingsD.

Kapur was selected by DeWolfe as the COO.  MySpace has declined comment regarding the resignation.
