Sony Debuts New BRAVIA TVs With Built-In Yahoo! Widgets

Sony announced today that they are creating several new models in their TV line.  The new TVs will have additional networked features.  The new models have 1920×1080 progressive resolution.  The new networked models of TVs have an ethernet connection so that it can access Amazon.com Video on Demand, YouTube, Yahoo! Widgets, Sony Pictures, and Sony Music.

BRAVIA Internet Widgets are provided by Yahoo! Widgets.  Internet content can be accessed through Yahoo! News, Video, Finance, and Flickr.

“The 52-inch KDL-52W5100, 46-inch KDL-46W5100 and 40-inch KDL-40W5100 (diagonal) models feature Motionflow(TM) 120Hz technology for improved sharpness and detail in fast-moving images,” stated Sony in a press release.

The TVs have 24p True Cinema, XrossMediaBar with 3D favorites menu, Internet-powered TV guide, BRAVIA Sync, and 4 HDMI inputs.  The new KDL-52W5100, KDL-46W5100 and KDL-40W5100 will be available in the spring through sonystyle.com.
