Tap Tap Revenge 2 has songs from Death Cab for Cutie, The Crystal Method, Daft Punk, Weezer, NiN, etc.   iPhone company Tapulous, which is rumored to have management problems, has just received a ton of downloads for their applications.  Tap Tap Revenge 2 is free, but has ads powered by AdMob.  Tapulous CEO Bart Decrem said that they have gotten close to 500,000 downloads.

During the peak hours, Tap Tap Revenge 2 hit 30-50 installs per second.  The game is very similar to Dance Dance Revolution.  The first Tap Tap Revenge game was the most downloaded in 2008.  Tap Tap Revenge has about 6 million users according to Decrem.  That game had about 3 million users around December.  Tapulous broke even in December and they’re hoping in the middle of the year that they’ll be in the positive.  Tapulous has also raised around $3 million in funding so far.
