Even When You Make Lame Comments, This Thing Will Still Applaud For You

Martin Smith has designed this applause machine for about $280.  When you push the button, these hands start clapping for you.  It is made out of Powder coated steel, brass, walnut wood, plastic, and a motor.  The height of the hands are about 450mm.  Two AAA batteries are required. Colors come in orange, green, red, white, and black.
