Chi Mei Communication System Responsible For Assembling The Palm Pre

Upcoming iPhone competitor, the Palm Pre has a lot of hype building up.  The hype went even further when Joshua Topolsky of Engadget took the device on the Jimmy Fallon show.  Earlier this week the DigiTimes found out that the Palm Pre will be manufactured by Taiwanese OEM company Chi Mei Communication Systems.  This company is one of the largest OEM companies in Taiwan and even manufactures phones for Motorola.  Production was rumoed to be scheduled for this month.

Oh the anticipation!
