The Pottery Barn is selling a product called the “Stuff-Your-Stuff Theater Set.” It goes for about $1,300 and has a bookshelf that doubles up as a projector TV. Basically this product can go from a productivity resource to a productivity killer within seconds. The screen is about 66″ x 58.5″ and the bookcase is made out of pine.
Matthew Dominick came up with this clever mash-up of Super Mario Brothers 3 and the real world. He used the whistle superpower to transport Mario into the city of Chicago in the video. Once arriving in Chicago, Mario runs from cars, finds a raccoon suit, and shoots fire at a guy throwing fire balls at him out of a recycle bin. This is very well done, I recommend taking 3 minutes and 11 seconds to watch it. Watch what happens to Mario at the burger place towards the end of the video.
They invented a Phantom Emergency Oxygen tank for deep sea divers and the robotic crawler for people that want to escape from earthquakes. Now there is a new product called the Snowpulse Life Bag that helps people that like to ski or snowboard from being injured.
The Snowpulse Life Bag is a personal airbag for skiers that fits in a backpack. It works very well in case there is an avalanche. The bag takes about 3 seconds to deflate and it gives the head and shoulders quite a bit of padding. It is not recommended to take more risks after wearing the Snowpulse. Currently the Life Bag is only available in Europe.
The $970 stainless steel floor fireplace made by Vidro burns a smokeless flame in your living room. There are two glass panels around the flame to add to the aesthetics of the coffee table. Germany company Blomus designed this product. Currently the $970 model is about 22″ and there is a bigger version for $1,174.
If you smoke regularly, you should realize how black your lungs are becoming. You keep reducing your lung capacity the more you smoke and should realize that today should be the day you quit. This product is supposed to “shock” smokers from realizing what they’re doing. It is a cigarette lighter in the form of blackened lungs. Every time you light a cigarette lighter using this product, you are looking at a mirror image of what your lungs may end up looking like.
Peijia Wu is a carpenter that lives in a Chinese village. One of his most ultimate challenges was to create a bike that is made completely out of wood… we’re talking handlebars, wheels, brakes, pedals, everything. It took him about 3 months to put this thing together. Let’s just hope the termites don’t make his exercise machine into their dinner.
Jason Leroy Savage, 30 of Swan Creek Township will receive 90 days in the Saginaw County Jail for performing a sex act on a car wash vacuum. Savage will also have to submit to drug testing. Savage pleaded no contest to indecent exposure and the arrest was made on October 16 at a car wash in Thomas Township. This area is about 90 miles northwest of Detroit. Lawyer Philip Sturtz represented Savage in the case.
