Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) is now selling the SX2210 monitor. I could imagine this monitor looking very stylish when standing on top of a glass desk table with an aquarium next to it. The SX2210 costs $279, has a 21.5″ screen, and can reach 1920×1080 resolution. The response time of the SX2210 is 2 milliseconds grey-to-grey. The contrast ratio is 50,000:1.

Some of the ports built into the SX2210 includes HDMI, DVI, and four USB 2.0 slots. One of the last highlighted features that I think is amazing and haven’t seen commonly in external LCD monitors is a built-in 2 megapixel webcams. The webcam has facial recognition for authentication to use on Windows Vista too.

I think I’ll eventually get myself a glass table and one of these babies to connect as a second monitor to my Sony Vaio laptop.
