President Obama loves to give digital media goods to the Brits. When the President met Queen Elizabeth II yesterday, he presented her with one of the country’s most beloved exports, the Apple iPod. However this was no empty iPod, it contained videos and photos of the Queen’s 2007 trip to the United States and some music.

Obama also gave the Queen a songbook that was signed by Richard Rodgers. In return the Queen gave the President a silver-framed signed photograph.

It is a good thing that this time DRM won’t prevent the Queen from enjoying her gift. DRM was a buzzkill for British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
