NiceLOL.com Is Like Flickr & Reddit Combined
Amit Chowdhry | Tuesday April 7, 2009 | 473 views| Add a CommentNiceLOL has over 50,000 users and hosts over 130,000 images. The purpose of the website is for users to discover interesting images based on the most popular. There are voting buttons that are similar to Reddit and the images are categorized. The categories include People, Funny, Nightlife, Comics, Scenery, Paintings, Animals, etc.
Once you upload a picture of your face then you are asked to put the code in your MySpace or MyYearBook profile.
The pictures in each category are much more entertaining than what I’ve seen on Reddit and Flickr. Other features on NiceLOL.com include live chatting using Mibbit.com, photo filtering, and a heat map that shows the hottest galleries by location. There is also a built-in messaging system. Those who submit unique popular photos may have the chance to win prizes in the near future.
On NiceLOL.com, users have more control over what their online presence. Every user can create a custom gallery and design for their own profiles using HTML. NiceLOL.com has lots of raw potential and it seems like the website is being updated constantly to ensure that users do not get bored. I found myself more entertained by NiceLOL.com than when I visited other social media websites with millions of users.
