Palm has finally decided to let consumers know when we can pick up their brand new phone, the Pre. The pre will cost only $199.99 after a $100 rebate and a 2 year contract with Sprint. The phone will start selling across the U.S. at retail stores such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Wal-Mart.
Some of the accessories that can be purchased includes a $69.99 Touchstone charging dock kit which includes a $49.99 dock and a $19.99 Pre back cover.
Two days after the Pre is released to the mobile market, Apple will be holding their WWDC conference. At WWDC 2007, the Apple iPhone release date was announced and at WWDC 2008 the App Store was announced. At this year’s WWDC, perhaps Apple should showcase some benchmark studies about why to get an iPhone over the Pre.
