You have to hand it to the architects with creative minds.  Yasuhiro Ymashita for example build this house that resembles an igloo in terms of the color and the structure.  There is one large window that faces West and the bottom of the house is raised a bit so that it acts as a natural garage with no door.  Ymashita also started an architecture company called Tekuto in 1991.  This house is located in downtown Tokyo.
