Capcom is the gaming company behind the Resident Evil and Street Fighter franchise.  Given the success that they have had with the Apple App Store, the company announced that they are planning to launch 10 games for the iPhone and iPod Touch this year.  Capcom has released Resident Evil: Degeneration, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Smarter than a 5th Grader?, and Mega Man 2.

Capcom will be one of several major studio gaming companies to produce iPhone games.  Electronic Arts and Sega are also heavily involved with iPhone game development.  Sega recently launched the Sonic the Hedgehog video game for the device.
