Yahoo! SVP Jeff Dossett Steps Down

Jeff Dossett, the SVP of North American Audience at Yahoo! has stepped down.  Dossett oversaw Yahoo!’s media properties News, Sports, and Finance.  Dossett joined the company from MSN and replaced Scott Moore.  Moore ended up taking a job Microsoft after being replaced.

Before Dossett left, he had reorganized Yahoo!’s media group.  Although it is not yet known what Dossett plans to do now, rumor has it that he will be joining a startup.  While Yahoo! searches for a replacement, Jimmy Pitaro and Tim Mayer will take on Dossett’s role.
