I don't know Professor Roth personally. But as a member of a small group of Plasma Physicists in San Diego some years ago, we, Roth and others were all together at a gathering of our sponsors to exchange thoughts, and ideas , as I recall. Ideas as different as can be, but, as the saying goes "that's what makes horse races". It is very difficult for me to believe, that Professor Roth would knowingly, and maliciously convey secrets harmful to our national security to those that want to hurt us. It makes no sense to me. The mention of $6,000 dollars, in any context of reporting, is laughable to me, knowing the amount of effort that that any good scientist makes to do what drives him or her.
