Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) announced earlier this week that they have completed the acquisition of BearingPoint’s Brazilian operations.  BearingPoint is on the verge of bankruptcy.   BearingPoint’s 550 employees in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia will become employees of CSC.

CSC said that this acquisition will boost the company’s presence in Latin America.  “Today marks a milestone in the implementation of our strategic growth plan and our expansion in high-potential geographies around the world,” stated CSC Chairman and CEO Michael Laphen.
