Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has officially launched a new version of their Movie Maker software.  Windows Live Movie Maker has been dubbed as “the the one-minute way to turn photos and videos into great-looking movies that are easy to share — for free.”

To download Windows Live Movie Maker, you can install Windows Live Essentials which comes bundled with the new software.  The new version of Live Essentials also includes several bug fixes.  To discuss how the software works and offer tips, Microsoft launched a new website called MovieMakerPreview.com.

Some of the key features of the new version include auto movie, video editing, easily fit content to music length, and share videos online.  There is a YouTube and Facebook plugin that makes it easy to upload videos.  Windows Live Movie Maker requires Windows Vista or Windows 7 to work.
