Google Sales Exec Andrew Rutledge Leaves For PubMatic

PubMatic is an advertising management startup company that raised about $7 million so far. The company provides real-time ad optimization analytics to help companies increase revenue.
Andrew Rutledge worked for DoubleClick, but became a Google executive after the acquisition. Now Rutledge will be working at PubMatic in the same position. Josh Wetzel, former head of business development for eBay’s Shopping.com will also be joining PubMatic.
PubMatic’s investors include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Nexus India Capital, and Helion Ventures. PubMatic currently has about 5,500 web publishers that they work with for ad optimization.
