Earlier this month it was expected that the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj would be available for purchase in September.  The specs of the camera include 12.1 megapixel resolution, ISO 6400 sensitivity, 5x wide-angle zoom lens, and a five-way VR stabilization. There is also a projector powered by LED that can display a 40″ image for slideshows.

Demand for this product has apparently been so high that the release date has to be postponed.  Now the camera is expected to be available starting October 23.  The S70 and the S570 are expected to arrive on September 19.
