Faculte is a company that focuses on making multimedia presentations easier.  The company has prepared webinar and presentation templates for enterprise use.  The San Bruno, California based company has raised $2.66 million according to a regulatory filing.  The investors were undisclosed.

Faculte gives users the ability to brand their presentations and make them interactive.  To protect your multimedia documents on Faculte, there are password protection features.  The service also has registration forms and a PayPal feature that allows customers to make payments through the presentation.

Faculte has analytics data for each presentation, including views and performance.  Videos and presentations made through Faculte can be embedded in the form of a widget.

Last year YouTube acquired a similar company called Omnisio.  Omnisio had the ability to sync videos with presentations.  It is still unclear what YouTube plans on doing with Omnisio, but at least that proves that this company is a proven model.
