Ooma Raises $18.3M, Totaling Them At $61.3M

VoIP service Ooma has raised $18.3 million in a Series D round of funding.  The Series D round of funding was led by Worldview Partners.  The Founders Fund, TD Fund, and WI Harper also participated in the Series D.

Since the company started in 2004, Ooma raised $61.3 million.  Ooma’s device allows people to make unlimited calling in the U.S. for free.  The Ooma device is also now being sold in about 5,000 retail stores including Best Buy and Costco.

The Ooma device sells for $249.99 and has advanced features for $99.99 per year.  System settings for the device can be controlled from the Internet too.
