NEC is launching a new monitor called the EA190M.  This monitor views objects at a 16:10 widescreen.  This EA190M monitor consumes 50% less energy and has 50% less mercury than most traditional monitors.  There is also a one touch ECO mode that allows users to quickly switch between two energy saving modes.  The EA190M has 250 nits of brightness and a 900:1 contrast ratio with a 5ms response time.

There are 5 visual presents which includes standard, text, movie, games, and photos.  There is also a 4-way stand that comes with the monitor.  Resolution tops off at about 1280×1024.  The MultiSync EA 190M will be shipping sometime this month at a price of about $259 and a 3 year warranty is included.
