Qualcomm has run into a legal issue in regards to a German company named Smartbook AG.  Smartbook filed a restraining order on Qualcomm about selling products called :Smartbooks” in the country of Germany.  Smartbook sued them for $358,000.  Smartbooks are a combination of smartphones and netbooks.  Smartbook AG even has a copyright for the term. Talk about being in a tough position here.  My guess is that Qualcomm won’t call their end product smartbooks so that would alleviate having to pay a fine.
