Samsung Electronics has released a new personal music player (PMP) called the DJ.  This PMP isn’t just any PMP, but it is the lightest and smallest in the PMP market.  The Samsung DJ is 8.9mm thick and has a 2.6″ touchscreen.

There is also a Beat DJ feature that allows you to scratch records.  Your voice and other sounds effects can also be added to the records.  There is also a drag+drop feature that allows Samsung DJ owners to move audio and video files to the DJ PMP folders.

The DJ uses Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.  And the DJ has a Digital Natural Sound feature to ensure “the highest possible sound quality.”  The Samsung DJ will be available in 8GB and 16GB later this month.  No word on price yet.
