USB 3.0 cables have been selling for some time now and earlier this week, the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) announced that the USB 3.0 Compliance and Certification Program is now available. What this means is that hardware that is compatible with USB 3.0 can now use the SuperSpeed USB logo. This also means that your PC is getting closer and closer to becoming obsolete. Just when I was getting used to the USB 2.0 trident-shaped logo. The new logo is pictured above.
