Pansonic has added another camera to their Lumix line of products. The new camera is called the Lumix DMC-GF1. The DMC-GF1 supposedly is the world’s smallest and lightest digital camera with built-in flash. The camera uses the micro four thirds system as well.
The DMC-GF1 can record HD video at 720p resolution in an AVCHD Lite format. The camera can also record at lower resolutions too. The GF1 has a 3″ rear LCD with 460K dot resolution and Live View. The camera sensor has a 12 megapixel resolution with a fast autofocus system. Panasonic will be shipping this camera in October at a price of about $899.95 with two kits.
One of the kits will have a Lumix G 20mm/F1.7 ASPH pancake lens. The other kit will have a Lumix G Vario 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6ASPH/MEGA OIS lens.
