Initech… I Mean Rubicon Project Acquires Others Online

“Hi, Peter. What’s happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports.” After watching the video below of Frank Addante giving a tour of The Rubicon Project office I could imagine losing my mind working there. The Rubicon Project is an online advertising company that sounds just like Initech. I’m surprised Addante did not say that Friday was Hawaiian shirt day since that is the case at Initech.

Rubicon Project recently acquired Others Online, a Seattle based behavioral marketing company. Rubicon started in 2007 and raised $34 million in total funding. Others Online is a 4 person company which indicates that Rubicon was interested in hiring them for their talents. Now that Rubicon Project has a behavioral marketing team on their hands, they can provide more information to their advertisers about what they are getting out of their money.
