Robo.to is bringing sexy back, or at least Justin Timberlake thinks so because he invested in the company. Robo.to allows users to create 4 second video statuses and share it with Twitter followers. The weird part of Robo.to is that audio isn’t allowed. That is just an odd concept.

The service was launched two months ago and they have launched a new service called TV Mode. TV Mode is a way to find out what topics are trending on Robo.to. There is an aggregate view of 4 second quiet clips and reveals the text that accompanies the videos.

Since the company launched in August, about 20,000 users signed up with the service. About 100,000 Robo.to videos have been created thus far. The website received 350,000 unique visitors in August and there were 1.5 million Robo.to video views.
