Shutterstock is planning to buy out BigStockPhoto, a stock photo website as they plan to introduce new payment methods. The financial details were undisclosed. BigStockPhoto allows users to buy individual photos by purchasing credits. Shutterstock is subscription-based. BigStockPhoto and Shutterstock allows users to upload photos. This is the second stock photo acquisition that happened in the last year. Last year Jupitermedia was bought out by Getty Images for $96 million.
