First click on the link in Facebook to show you all your friend's birthdays. At the bottom of the page, click on the "Export Birthdays" link and it should give you a pop-up with a webcal URL. Highlight and copy the url. Go to your Google calendar >> on the left hand side under "Other Calendars" Click "Add" >> Add by URL. Your calendar should now be populated with all your friends birthdays. It also works for MS Exchange and iCal. I think they just made this a little easier.
