Gartner Buying AMR Research For $64 Million
Gartner announced on Monday that they are buying AMR Research for $64 million. Gartner is an IT and supply chain company. The deal will be completed later this month. AMR is also a supply chain company that has about 85 employees and is expected to make $40 million in revenues this year. AMR will continue to operate indepedently.
AMR Chief Research Officer Bruce Richardson said that customers will not see any changes even though Gartner is a bigger company. “Your research, client services, and sales contacts will remain the same. All are being retained by Gartner,” stated Richardson. This article was written by Amit Chowdhry. You can follow me at @amitchowdhry or on Google+ at +AmitChowdhry
