Above is a heat map of the transactions that took place on Black Friday on eBay. The yellow indicate the sellers and the red indicate the buyers. In my home state of Michigan, it looks like there were sellers all over the state with a heavy concentration of buyers in the south-east. The east coast and west coast seem to have the most buyers. And there was a heavy concentration of buyers in Florida too.

On Black Friday eBay processed roughly 1 million deals and then sold about 1.4 million items on Cyber Monday. Its safe to say that eBay made a boatload of money between those 2 days in commission charges.
