Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) has developed the iPhone application for popular board game Battleship. If you have not played the board game, it works by reading off a number and letter from a grid. If that number and letter combination corresponds with water, then it is a miss. If the number and letter combination corresponds with a ship placement, it counts as a hit. The iPhone application game has graphics and 3D effects. There are also new super weapons and different play modes. The iPhone game can be played two player using WiFi or Bluetooth. Battleship sells for $2.99 and you can download it now [iTunes link].
